Tinnitus
Tinnitus is the perception of sound in the ears or head that is not caused by an external source. It can manifest as ringing, buzzing, humming, hissing, or other similar sounds. There are many potential causes of tinnitus, including exposure to loud noises, age-related hearing loss, ear infections, earwax buildup, and certain medications. In some cases, tinnitus may also be a symptom of an underlying health condition, such as high blood pressure, Meniere’s disease, or a head or neck injury.
